Geology

Geology is everywhere you look, under your feet, on the roof tops and even in your paper and toothpaste. The Trust works with the Cornwall Geoconservation Group (formerly the Cornwall RIGS Group) to protect important geological sites and inspire people about Cornwall's exciting geological heritage.

For lots of up-to-date stuff - and, especially, events (usually lectures on Zoom at present) - visit our Cornwall Geoconservation Group Facebook page.  Why not join over 1,100 people who follow it? Or the 1000+ who 'like' it?

This website is still very much a 'work in progress' - please  send us comments or add them to the FB page. We have more images to insert, mostly to illustrate the Cornish geology page. We will be inserting them, and replacing some (between our other jobs!).  If you have images which fill a gap - or are better than those already there - and you are happy to let us use them, please send them.  Apologies, but the only reward will be a credit. Please bookmark this site - and also share our web address - but please use www.cornwallgeoconservationgroup.org.uk
